Andrew goralski Painting of Brett Favre titled Heart of GoldWhat is a Certificate of Authenticity?
A Certificate of Authenticity verifies and authenticates the following:

  • The size of the edition
  • The customers actual print number
  • The artist signature
  • Artist Biography
  • Authenticity of the athlete's signature
  • A photograph of the athlete signing the print

What does s/n stand for?
s/n stands for signed and numbered by the artist.

What is an Artist Proof (a/p)?
There are prints that were individually inspected by the artist while the prints were being made. Traditionally 10% of an edition are artist proofs. Artist proofs are numbered differently than the regular edition. For example, a regular edition of 500 prints will be signed and numbered 1/500, 2/500 and so on. An artist proof will be numbered A/P1/50, 2/50 and so on. Very few artist proofs are available to the general public because most are reserved for the artist and publisher. This makes artist proofs more scarce and as a result the price of each proof is considerably higher.

What is a Conservation Edition (c/e)?
Conservation Editions are created specifically for charitable groups and associations.

If possible we will refer the customer to individuals that may be interested in selling their sold out print. After market prints may be available by searching the internet.

What are secondary market prints?
Secondary market prints are prints that are sold out by the publisher and are usually sold out by a gallery, or have risen significantly in price since being sold out by the publisher.

Issue pricing and secondary market values
Andrew Goralski Studios establishes issue and fair market pricing for all prints and originals produced. Issue prices are set when a new edition is released. The issue prices are used by dealers as the retail sell price of the print. Issue prices are determined by the past performance and current demand for the artists work. Issue prices are also determined by the demand of the specific athlete portrayed in the print.

Fair market values are placed on editions that have sold out. Fair market values are determined by the current prices a sold out edition is being sold for. Information on specific sold out prints can be obtained through art galleries and after market trade magazines. Secondary prices may vary greatly because the charge is entirely up to the seller.
